A website packed with articles, ideas and videos. iCoachTableTennis is here to provoke discussion and thought from all coaches/volunteers/parents and everyone involved in table tennis and the wider world of sport.
Table tennis and quality coaching are so important to us. Volunteers, parents and qualified coaches form a massive community within the sporting world. iCoachTableTennis is a website dedicated to the members of that community. As a community we have the responsibility to deliver our best for the sport and players.
Founded by two knowledge hungry and passionate coaches, our mission is:
“…to share our insights into the world of coaching and athlete development by providing our thoughts in the hope of helping other coaches of all levels develop their coaching knowledge. Enhancing the ‘table tennis experience’ for everybody involved.”
Who are the iCoachTableTennis team?
Daniel Ives, 27, is the founder of TableTennisDaily and a full-time professional coach. He has recently been working at the prestigious Bristol Academy of Sport. Graduating from the University of South Wales in 2012 with a First class honours in Sports Coaching and Performance; his specific areas of interest are expertise and its development in relation to sports performance.
Lloyd Gregory, 26, is currently a full time coach at Cardiff City Table Tennis Club and has formerly worked with Bristol Academy of Sport. Lloyd graduated from the University of South Wales with a First Class degree with honours in Sports Coaching and Performance and has also completed a MSc in Performance Coaching.
